NEW YORK: HIGH LINE, CHELSEA MARKET, VILLAGE, WASHINGTON SQUARE

September 10, 2019

On Tuesday as every day we arrive around 8 at Newark Academy. We met in the cafeteria and then headed to the bus that was waiting for us to take us to a city in New York. We arrived at a neighborhood in New York in which during the last century there were many animal slaughterhouses. We walk along an old elevated train track, which is currently a garden that extends for 7 km of this road.

After walking and taking some photos we went to the Chelsea market, which is housed in the facilities of an old factory of the Oreo brand. There we tried, brownies, soups, sushi and different types of oils and vinegars.

Then we walk through the lower area of New York visiting several monuments such as the Washington Square Triumphal Arch. In this square we stop to eat and at the end of our bus we will wait to take us back from the Newark Academy. Upon arrival, our American boys and girls were in their extracurricular activities so we would have to finish them and returned home where we spent the rest of the day.
